Matthew N. Haldeman

Associate

Matthew N. Haldeman is a member of the firm’s General Liability practice defending a broad range of insurance defense cases ranging from automobile accidents, personal injury litigation, negligent security, and premises liability. Prior to joining Conroy Simberg, Mr. Haldeman successfully defended one of the largest healthcare organizations in the country in addition to various healthcare providers from claims of medical malpractice. He has also advocated for the defense of many commercial clients in the areas of premises liability and general liability, and has defended multiple claims brought under the Florida Wrongful Death Act. Mr. Haldeman has obtained multiple contested summary judgments for defendants in medical malpractice matters in state court, and has succeeded on appeal in the Firth District Court of Appeals defending an order granting summary judgment in favor of a medical malpractice client.

After earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology from the College of Behavioral and Community Sciences at the University of South Florida, Mr. Haldeman then moved to Orlando, Florida where he earned a Juris Doctor, Magna Cum Laude, from Florida A&M University College of Law where he was also a lead editor of the Law Review and a competing member of the Moot Court team.
