Conroy Simberg has an immediate opening for a Workers' Comp Legal Assistant for our Hollywood, FL Office. This is a full time position with benefits.

JOB SUMMARY:
The individual in this role will assist a busy litigation partner in a fast-paced environment.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Under attorney direction draft and prepare correspondence. Receipt, review and bill for mail.
• Preparation of pleadings including, but not limited to, motions, subpoenas, notices, hearings, and requests for production.
• Perform timely handling of highly sensitive issues and documents.
• Maintain attorney calendar adding events, follow up & confirming daily.
• Coordination/scheduling of mediations, hearings, depositions, etc.

REQUIREMENTS:
• 3 + years of prior Workers' Compensation experience a must. Defense litigation a plus.
• Proficient with DOAH e-filing system.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook. Knowledge of AIM (Perfect Law) a plus!
• Requires critical thinking skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail oriented and organized.
