Evin D. Childs, an associate in Conroy Simberg’s Pensacola, is a member of the First Party Property and Coverage practice group focusing on homeowner, commercial and fraud-related insurance matters. She began her legal career as an Assistant State Attorney for the First Judicial Circuit of Florida prosecuting criminal cases from investigation to jury trial. She then worked as a Senior Attorney with the Department of Children and Families in the Fourteenth Circuit prosecuting child welfare cases in Bay County Dependency Court.
Prior to joining Conroy Simberg, Evin worked for a local legal aid firm representing indigent clients and victims of domestic violence in bankruptcy, landlord-tenant, probate, and family law matters and was an attorney ad litem for children residing in foster care.
A native of Mobile, Alabama, Evin earned a bachelor of arts in Political Communication from Louisiana State University and juris doctorate from Florida Coastal School of Law.
