Anwar Twine Thomas, an attorney based in Tampa, Florida, is dedicated to providing exceptional legal representation to his clients. Anwar earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida where he double majored in Business Marketing and Management. After college, he went on to pursue his Juris Doctor at the University of Miami’s School of Law.
During his time in law school, Anwar gained valuable experience working as a Certified Legal Intern for the Office of the Public Defender of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit in Miami, Florida. Following law school, Anwar honed his litigation skills at the Office of the Public Defender of the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit in Tampa, Florida, where he handled a wide range of cases.
Upon transitioning to civil practice, Anwar handled both plaintiff and defense work in the insurance sector. Outside of his legal career, Anwar is actively involved in volunteering and mentorship including his work with organizations such as Bay Area Legal Services and the Men of Tomorrow program.
