Christopher T. Corkran

A fourth-generation attorney, Christopher Corkran is a partner in Conroy Simberg’s Hollywood office. He practices in all areas of insurance defense, involving general liability, including auto accident claims, first party Uninsured/underinsured motorist claims and also insurer bad faith claims, breach of contract and negligence-based claims, both catastrophic and non-catastrophic. Chris also handles pre-suit investigation and evaluation-related matters as well as residential construction defect claims. He is admitted to practice before all Florida state courts and the Federal Court - Southern District.

Chris earned a juris doctor from St. Thomas University School of Law where he was selected to be a member of the prestigious Peter T. Fay American Inn of Court, an executive editor for the Opinio Juris Legal Review and an articles editor for the St. Thomas Law Review. During law school, Chris began his legal career as a clerk for the firm.

Fluent in Spanish, Chris also holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from The Ohio State University. In his spare time, he volunteers with the Miami-Dade Animal Services Shelter.
