Jakob E. Uzzle is an associate in Conroy Simberg’s Hollywood office and practices exclusively in Workers’ Compensation defense. Prior to joining Conroy Simberg, he worked for one of the largest insurance defense firms in the State of Florida where he focused his practice on defense of civil litigation claims, inclusive of workers’ compensation claims, premises liability and automobile negligence, before narrowing his scope to exclusively workers’ compensation defense. After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida, he moved to Detroit, Michigan, where we provided technical support for major automobile manufacturers. Mr. Uzzle then attended Florida A&M college of Law, where he earned a Juris Doctor and served as the Executive Editor of the Florida A&M Law Review. He is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts.
