Tamara D. Smith

Tamara Smith is a member of the firm’s medical malpractice division, focusing on medical and dental malpractice, medical device products liability, and pharmaceutical litigation. She joined Conroy Simberg after practicing as a corporate defense attorney representing Fortune 500 companies, industry leaders and major corporations in various types of civil cases involving bodily injury in premises liability, first-party property, insurance coverage issues, negligent security and restaurant liability. Prior to becoming an attorney, she clerked at a defense firm and assisted in representing various civil cases involving bodily injury, catastrophic injuries, medical malpractice actions, wrongful death claims, premise liability and automobile liability cases. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from South Carolina State University, Smith moved to Washington, D.C., where she worked at the Federal Emergency Management Agency Headquarters and the Administrative Office of the United States Courts. She then earned her Juris Doctorate from The Catholic School of America Columbus School of Law where she served as Miss District of Columbia United States 2020, National Trial Team associate, Veterans Advocacy and Estate Planning Clinic certified student attorney, Pro Bono Advisory Board member, and Federal Communications Bar Association ambassador. Smith is currently a member of Young Lawyers Division of The Florida Bar.
