Orlando Partners to Speak at the 2024 Florida Bar Workers’ Compensation Forum

Orlando workers’ compensation partners, Matthew J. Troy and Neil A. Ambekar will present at the 2024 Florida Bar Workers’ Compensation Forum in Orlando, Florida. Matt and Neil are both Board-certified by The Florida Bar in Workers’ Compensation and AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell. They represent employers, carriers, TPAs, uninsured employers, PEOs and self-insured funds in all types of workers’ compensation cases.
Matt will present “The Employment Relationship, Employee Leasing Companies (PEOs), Covered and Excluded Employment, Defenses to Claims and Fraud,” on Thursday, April 18 at 9:45 am followed by Neil who will present “Average Weekly Wage, TTD and TPD,” at 11:10 am.
Matt is the co-Editor of the News and 440 Report and the President of the Friends of 440 Scholarship Fund. Neil is the chair of the Orange County Bar Association’s Workers’ Compensation Section and vice-chair of the Florida Bar’s Workers’ Compensation Rules Advisory Committee. Both are members of the Executive Committee of the Workers Compensation Section of the Florida Bar.
