Jeffrey Brown

A partner in the firm's Columbus, Georgia, Jeff is a member of the firm’s General Liability practice defending a broad range of insurance defense cases ranging from automobile accidents, premises liability, negligent security, animal liability, bad faith/extra contractual litigation, and construction defect litigation.  Jeff is also a registered mediator and maintains an active mediation practice.  Prior to joining Conroy Simberg, Jeff was a founding partner at Brown & Adams, LLC.  Jeff is licensed to practice in State and Federal Courts throughout Georgia and Alabama.   

He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice from North Georgia College (now University of North Georgia) and received his Juris Doctorate from the Cumberland School of Law of Samford University.  

Jeff served in the United States Army, the Georgia Army National Guard and the United States Army Reserve from 1985 until 2006 as a Combat Engineer, an Infantry officer and later a member of the Judge Advocate General’s Corps.
