Megan Powell is an associate in Conroy Simberg’s Hollywood office. She is a member of the firm’s appellate department, where she handles appeals, dispositive motions and trial support, including preparation of summary judgment motions, motions in limine, jury instructions, pre- and post-trial motions, and appears in trial and other court proceedings to ensure the record has been properly preserved for appeal.
Prior to joining Conroy Simberg, Megan was an associate at a small general practice firm where she represented clients in all aspects of civil litigation, including general liability, complex tort litigation, construction defect, homeowner’s association litigation, appeals, and other civil matters.
Megan earned her Juris Doctor and from Stetson University College of Law, where she graduated cum laude. While at Stetson, Megan was an Articles & Symposia Editor on Stetson Law Review, the Editor in Chief of the Journal of Aging Law and Policy, a research assistant to multiple professors, and earned the National Order of the Scribe Award for Demonstrating Excellence in Legal Writing. Before law school, she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Legal Studies from the University of West Florida.
