Associate
Samuel E. Cooley is a member of the firm’s General Liability practice group defending a broad range of insurance defense case, including premises liability, automobile liability, construction litigation, first-party property, and professional liability cases. He has also practiced in the area of commercial litigation and intellectual property. Samuel joined Conroy Simberg after two years as an in-house counsel. Prior to that, he was a partner at a boutique litigation firm in Los Angeles, California after having served for nearly seven years at a prestigious mid-sized national insurance defense firm. After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in American Studies, Magna Cum Laude, from Vanderbilt University, Samuel moved to St. Petersburg, Florida, where he earned a Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law and served as an Associate Justice of the Moot Court Board.
