Robert A. DeVito is a member of Conroy Simberg’s General Liability practice, with a focus on defending a diverse range of cases, including liability & casualty, automobile & trucking litigation, premises liability, insurance coverage, bad faith & extra contractual litigation, first party property and coverage, and subrogation. Robert joined Conroy Simberg while still in law school and, upon graduation and admission to the Florida Bar, chose to continue his legal career with the firm.
Robert earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida. He received his Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from Ave Maria School of Law in 2025, where he served as a Senior Editor on the Ave Maria Law Review and was a Fellow of the Rodney L. Smith Business Law Institute. During his law school tenure, Robert authored three published works: “Human Germline Genome Engineering & Heritable Human Genome Editing: Privatized Research and the Need for Positive Law” in the 2025 Ave Maria Law Review, along with “Real Taxes for Unreal Wealth” and “Who Wants an Assembly Line Judge?” in the Ave Business Law Herald.
